Aims and Scopenext

(1) Aims

A basic structure of EJAM comprises three components. EJAM presents these described as follows:

  1. (1) General Articles which broadly related to maintenance
  2. (2) Academic Articles focused on the structure of maintenology
  3. (3) New Technology that are to put globally advanced technologies on a common ground and to discuss its sophistication.

Briefly, General Articles aims for building a concept of maintenology, Academic Articles is for academic systematization of maintenance, and New Technology is for sophistication of maintenance technology. A concept of maintenance has notionally sustains both Academic Articles and New Technology which complements each other and plays the role in achieving a plant safety in combining with the two.

1. Introduction

EJAM aims to distribute a great amount of information on effective maintenance technology to achieve safety in nuclear power plants all over the world. The following states the submission guidelines of manuscript for New Technology on EJAM.

2. Direction

  1. 2.1 Basic idea

New Technology covers all maintenance technologies, from inspection, evaluation, to maintenance (repair, replacement, and preventive maintenance).

These technologies are categorized as indicated on Attachment-1 "EJAM Maintenance Technology Map".

In addition, all the submitted manuscripts should state their "Development Phase" based on Attachment-2 "Development phase of the Technology on EJAM New Technology" to give better understanding to readers.
